  How cvecheck classifies a Linux host's exposure to CVE-2026-31431 (Copy Fail) and installs one of four stop-gap mitigations: a modprobe blacklist, a grubby boot arg, an eBPF kprobe at __x64_sys_socket, or a native kernel module fallback for kernels where the BPF override helper is gated off.
